Responsibilities: Provides focused Quality Engineering support within new product development, operational, or system/services support. Provides leadership and technical support for the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Engineering functions. Develops, establishes and maintains Quality Engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, and communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities. Develop familiarity with our products and analyze complaint data, post market surveillance and risk analysis to assist in the identification of potential product improvements based on sound engineering principles. Support shelflife and biocompatibility testing and create associated test procedures and reports. Create and update product riskanalyses and risk management files. Build stable relationships internally. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with concentration in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 7 - 10 years progressively responsible experience with Quality/Inspection functions in a medical device manufacturing environment. Proficient in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint.
