Quality Assurance Inspector (CMM) - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Interprets engineering drawings or formulas, conferring with team to determine quality and reliability standards. Tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions and performance. Evaluates GD&T requirements of drawings, determining inspection techniques to measure those requirements. GeneratesCMM programs for use in inspecting products. Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures. Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations. Perform inspections and generate Certificatesof Conformance. Recommends modifications of existing quality standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. Prepares graphs or charts of data. Participates in all aspects of QMS, such as root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1-2 year manufacturing quality or quality inspector experience. Inspectionexperience - Mechanical and Process; able to read Mechanical Drawings and strong attention to detail. CMM Experience - Fluent in programming and use of CMM preferred. Auditor Experience - Internal and External. Understanding of ISO 9001 or AS9100 Standard. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groupsituations to customers or employees. Knowledge of mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Pay: $20 -$26/hour
