Project Administrative Assistant
Downtown Sac, CA
Responsibilities: Plan and assist in the management of construction projects, including bid preparation, scheduling, buyout, and project close out. Create, review, and issue contract agreementsand purchase orders. Maintain filing system for project documentation and tracking. Material and equipment procurement. Coordinate Subcontractor bids and provide analysis. Develop, track, and maintain project control documents (RFI's, Submittals, RFQ's, CO's, etc.). Review subcontractor project submittals and RFI's for conformancewith plans and specifications. Compile and organize subcontractor closeout documents. Provide timely communication, responses and updates to all parties involved.
Requirements: Minimum two years' experience as a project assistant/engineer. Bachelor's degree required; degree in civil engineering or construction management a plus. Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong math and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Highly dependable, responsible and good sense of urgency. Ability to use good judgement and clear a criminal background check.
