Join a global packaging specialist who has invested to expand their Sacramento Manufacturing plant as their Production Maintenance Manager. The Production Plant Maintenance Manager will provide leadership and resources to the maintenance department ensuring facility and equipment are maintained to defined specifications, operate efficiently, safely and to production plan. Provide improvements in the facility's equipment reliability and the reduction of production downtime while meeting budget constraints.

Responsibilities: Lead a maintenance department of 20+ Engineers, Specialists and Technicians. Ensure safety of employees and equipment, andensure proper planning, operation and maintenance of equipment. Manage a large maintenance material budget, order materials, manage storeroom and monitor consignment inventory. Direct maintenance staff to ensure that plant efficiency and optimization projects are meeting schedule, budget and specifications. Ensure continued skill development, cross-training and career path of Maintenance team. Administer Plant Policies and Procedures within the Maintenance Department. Manage time appropriately and interface with internal and external resources to prioritize and resolve maintenance issues in an efficient manner. Utilize Continuous Improvement techniques (Preventative and Predictive initiatives) to analyze work systems and identify ways to reduce costs.

Requirements: Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. 5+ years supervisory or management experience in union industrial maintenance engineering. Packaging or Paper manufacturing experienced preferred. Proven Preventative and predictive maintenance experience (Lubrication and Vibration analysis, Thermography and sustainability). Strong technical and problem solving skills in mechanical pneumatic electrical, thermal and hydraulic systems. Must be a highly motivated and engaged leader with project management experience. Possess strong communication (written and verbal) and conflict resolution skills. Forecasted, Planned and managed alarge department budget with quantifiable return on investment or cost cutting measures.
