The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing production goals and employees, as well as ensuring operationsflow smoothly from shift to shift. Responsibilities: Supervise all personnel and operations on the shift, ensuring the safety of all personnel. Perform scheduled audits on quality and safety throughout the course of shift. Responsiblefor accurate production reporting and ensure correct quantities and products are produced. Lead employee engagementand motivate team to meet safety, quality and production standards. Report process and equipment problems. Act as aresource to resolve production challenges, including escalating to maintenance on evenings and weekends. Complete mandatory employee safety and food safety training for the production team. Supervise and stay engaged with training of new hires. Provide evaluations and review all direct reports to ensure expectations are set and development needs are acknowledged for employee success. Partner with management on hiring, employee evaluations, terminations, and promotions. Organize work for safe, smooth operations. Distribute plant status reports. Verify that all machine operator quality checks are completed correctly. Complete production reporting. Troubleshoot problems.

Requirements: 6-8 years' management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.High School Diploma; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. Refrigeration and Cold Chain Management experience required. Excellent safety awareness, including understanding of OSHA standards. Knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety, HACP, SQF. Good technical or process orientation required to learn all aspects of stock preparation and finished goods manufacturing. This position supports a 24 hour operating facility. Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office, ERP software, etc.
