Point of Sale Reporting Specialist
Responsibilities: Respond to all routine point of sale requests from various departments. Prepare daily system export, listing all products in the product database. Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly velocity reports. Update reports for New Items or Weekly Sales. Assign new pLUs for new Non-UPC items using appropriate reference ranges and communicate those to appropriate departments. Consolidate all promotions submissions and check for accuracy and completeness. Retrieve and process all incoming vendor product change reports. Assist in inventory counts as needed. Provide prompt and accurate administrative assistance to the department. Maintain department files, records, and electronic databases. Participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements: 2 years' related experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to calculate and understand unit cost, retail prices, gross margins, proportions, and percentages. Intermediate Microsoft office; especially Excel and Word. Solid customer service skills; able to manage difficult customer situations. Highly accurate data entry experience with strong attention to detail. Ability to use good judgment and clear a criminal background check.
