The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all major plant functions including Production, Planning, QA, Sanitation, Maintenance, Purchasing, Safety, Shipping/Receiving and Materials Controls. Management is also responsible for creating efficiencies and cost savings, as well as generating new customers and maintain existing customers. Responsibilities: Oversee all major plant functions including planning, packaging, and warehousing functions. Provide direct oversight for the operations management team including production, packaging, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics. Ensure optimum utilization of machinery, materials, and human resources, to achieve maximum capacity, yields and overall lowest cost production. Assist in developing and implementing operating procedures in sanitation, safety, quality, preventative maintenance, general manufacturing practices. Employee management including coaching and mentoring, evaluations and reviews. Assist withfinancial objectives. Meet or exceed production and safety goals. Responsible for customer service including on time deliveries of last promised date.

Requirements: 10 years' of Plant manufacturing or distribution management experience (preferably food-manufacturing). Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Technology, or related field, or equivalent related experience. Refrigeration and Cold Chain Management experience required. Demonstrated experience in establishing, and operating within, cross-functional teams as well as the ability to significantly integrate within corporate and customer organizations. Working knowledge of GMO and HACCP processes preferred. Experience in a SQF Level 3 facility preferred. This position is supporting a 24/7 Operation.
