Payroll Specialist with ADP Experience
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes bi-weekly payroll for all employee groups; performs complex payroll calculations. Manage and maintain the integrity of the payroll reporting software systems. Verifies information received from employees on relevant company forms; audits, corrects and balances payroll and a variety of reports. Processes adjustments; enters information into the payroll system, researches and resolves discrepancies. Coordinates the distribution and/or mailing of payroll checks and statements. Produces and disseminates payroll reports weekly and semi-monthly. Responsible for presenting benefit information at new hire orientation, and the set-up of new hire benefits. Coordinates 401(k) enrollment meetings for newly eligible employees. Processes 401(k) plan distribution requests, rollover requests, and assist employees with plan questions and use of plan website. Other tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: 3 years hands on payroll processing experience is required. Some Human Resources experience is desired. Proven skills in ADP Payroll or another computerized payroll processing software. Strong technical skills with Microsoft Excel (candidates will be tested). Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, concise and effective manner verbally. Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Word processing: Minimum 45 words per minute. Demonstrated 10-key by touch.
