Responsibilities:Process payroll from start to end; including auditing, benefit deductions for employees, extracting time and attendance information, and payroll tax reconciliation. Process and serve as subject matter expert on garnishments and wage assignments, including regular audits to ensure accuracy and respond to colleague inquires with high levelcustomer service. Develop and maintain documentation/programs for all internal payroll processes and work procedures. Complete balance adjustments and non-routine payroll entries. Research, analyze and resolve payroll-related issues or questions. Perform regular auditing of payroll for accuracy and assure review of system output/error messages on a consistent basis. Provide payroll support for all internal and external audits, including year-end auditing. Identify and develop continuous improvements in payroll work flow and processes to increase efficiencies. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns on form W-2. Maintain anddocument all payroll records, including new hires and terminations.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll. Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax filings. High attention to detail and exceptionally organized. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of employee and company information. Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel (how to use formulas). Self-Starter with ability to troubleshoot and identify solutions independently.
