Responsibilities: Process payroll from start toend. Ensure timely and accurate payments to employees, tax agencies, garnishment payees and GL account coding. Review reports to track eligibility, leave of absences, and employee benefit payments. Research payment discrepancies. Manage vacation and sick time accruals and payments. Assist with Internal and External Audit documentation. Perform special projects as assigned.
Requirements: 3 years' experience with Payroll processing. Associate's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience. Experience with all aspects of payroll processing and reporting. Knowledge of payroll laws as well as applicable HR laws as they relate to payroll. Proficient with Excel, Word and payroll processing software. 10-Key by touch. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to use good judgement and clear criminal background check.
