Responsibilities: Respond and process payroll requests and inquires. Process bi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, reconcile and audit payroll processing within the payroll system. Data entry for new hires and audit payroll related changes within payroll system. Manage 401k process: contribution changes, audits, employee questions. Provide customer service on inquiries about payroll. Maintain confidentiality and discretion with information related to employees, managers and department operations, without exception. Manage workers compensation claims. Monthly reconciliation of benefit vendor billing. Conduct monthly and quarterly payroll reports, or ad hoc reports as requested. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required-Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred. Minimum 3 years payroll experience. Experience working with ADPWorkforce Now system required. Significant experience working in multi-state payroll is a plus. Strong technical skills in MS Office is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to process/enter data into computer system quickly and accurately. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize task. Ability to use good judgement and pass a criminal background check.
