We are currently recruiting for multiple Patient Service Representatives to join a healthcare practice in Sacramento. The Patient Services Representative will provide first point of contact customer service for patient inquiries regarding appointments, eligibility, and answer general patient questions. The ideal candidate is sharp, motivated, and has excellent people skills. This is a temporary opportunity with potential for hire. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities: Acts as first point of contact for incoming customer inquiries and requests by email, phone, and web portal channels. Takes messages, triages calls and routes calls as is appropriate. Determines patient eligibility. Receives and processes fees or credit card payments prior to client appointments. Facilitates new patient registration, updates patient demographics, schedules patient appointments and follows up with reminders for upcoming appointments.

Requirements: 6 months -1 year experience in a healthcare practice. Previous experience with customer service and interacting with patients required. Strong reliability and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. Ability to use goodjudgement. Must be able to clear a criminal background check.
