Part Time Event Coordinator

If you are an organized person who thrives on scheduling and coordinating we have the perfect Part Time Event Coordinator position for you! This role is located in Downtown Sacramento and will coordinate the Sales and Marketing for participants of multiple events (small to large scale). The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy data entry and answering inbound phones. This is a M-F, 8am-12noon, temporary to hire opportunity!

Responsibilities: Event Set-Up: Set up events; includes: workshops, phone/web seminars, on-demand, certificate programs, conference. Event Registration Processing: Organize, sort, and process registrations and payments. Event On-Site Preparation: Prepare all necessary lists, rosters, certificates, name badges, and financialinformation for staff. Send reminder email to attendees. Event Close-out: Review Close-out materials from on-site staff. Process on-site registrations etc. Event Tracking: Create and run reports as needed to analyze participant demographics. Assist Meeting & Event Planner with specialty programs, as requested. Maintain events and certification database and files. Assist with special projects as assigned. Provide telephone back up to the receptionist.

Requirements: 1-2 years' Office and customer service experience. Highly professional in written and verbal communication. Excellent office and coordinating skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel. Strong technical skills working in multiple databases. High level customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a small but highly collaborative team. Type at least 40 wpm. Moderate in-state travel required.

Pay: $16/hour.
