Part-Time Accounting Clerk - Direct Hire
Downtown Sac, CA | Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities: Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting team. Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records. Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database. Provide assistance and support to company personnel. Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies. Compile reports/summaries for management. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Requirements: 1-2 years demonstrated accounting experience. High school Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred. Computer savvy with databases and accounting software. Experience with QuickBooks preferred. Proficient with MS Office, specifically with Excel. Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks. Data entry and word processing skills.
