Paralegal - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Perform initial case assessments and investigate claims. Prepare legal documents; efficiently gather, organize, summarize and documents. Set up and maintain files/database. Create pleadings, including summons and affidavits. Calendar dates. Ensure documents are properly filed and distributed. Research aspects of the case for discovery purposes. Prepare written reports and correspondence. Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, and contracts. Organize andtrack case files. Help with trial preparation and assist lawyer in courtroom.
Requirements: Paralegal certificate. 5 years litigation/case management paralegal experience. Strong ability to efficiently analyze, categorize and accurately summarize documents. Proficient in MS Office. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Team player is essential.
