Office Clerk - Part Time

Responsibilities: Answers and directs incoming calls; appropriately documents incoming messages and service requests. Processes and distributes daily departmental mail. Maintains calendar for activities; records and distributes daily schedule information. Prepares materials for activities; maintains activity log. Sends activity follow up correspondence to customers. Scans, files, indexes documents. Prepares PowerPoints and other communication materials. Drafts professional forms and letters. Completesprojects as assigned.
Requirements: 2 years' experience working in a healthcare office environment. High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills: calm, supportive andprofessional demeanor. Proficient with MS Office suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. Self-directed and ableto work both independently as well as collaborate with a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of HIPAA.
