Medical Office Manager-Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Establish and maintain new referral sources. Manage contracts, credentialing, and business marketing. Oversee HR related activities: recruiting, hiring, training staff, and implement office policies. Oversee and manage patient flow. Administrative support activities including billing; negotiating liens, approving accounts for collections, and allocating monthly procedure counts and collections. Responsible for managing petty cash, writing office checks, and approving bills and invoices for payment. Establish and manage all business accounts and vendors; order office supplies and equipment. Coordinate all staff meetings (daily morning huddles, weekly staff meetings, and events). Actively search for ways to streamline efficiency of office systems.
Requirements: 5 years' experience in healthcare administration. Ability to work independently and asa team leader to achieve established goals. Strong interpersonal skills; developing constructive and cooperative working relationships and demonstrating professionalism. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Abilityto deal with difficult situations such as high-level patient service issues and discussions with insurance companies. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and complete tasks both efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy in a time sensitive environment. Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize duties, demonstrating exceptional time-management skills with attention to detail. Familiar with medicalterminology and HIPAA.
