Medical Office Manager - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Direct oversightfor the front office's operations including team management, provider schedule management and execution of special projects. Manage the daily processes, including assisting staff with all front office duties, ensuring adherence topractice policies and procedures and implementation of emergency procedures; address staff policy violations and performance issues accordingly. Oversee and supervise the work of Medical Assistants. Manage employee schedules including shift coverage. Supervise and mentor employees, including training, work assignment delegation, performance evaluations, development of career goals, and disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Resolves and documents complex patient situations including escalated complaints, patient terminations, and office incident reporting.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6+ years' relevant administrative, supervisor and/or management experience. Working knowledge of medical office operations. Proficient in various computer applications including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and practice management systems. Working knowledge of various insurance plans and workers compensation insurance. Ability to train, mentor, and provide guidance and feedback to other team members. Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS rules and regulations. Ability to use good judgment and clean on boarding requirements (drug/background screening).
