Logistics Service Coordinator (Graveyard Shift)

Responsibilities: Actively and efficiently monitor multi-line telephone system. Triage and resolve issues timely and cost effectively. Interact with Managers and Drivers providing them leadership guidance to help solve operational/maintenance breakdowns and improvement opportunities. Respond to driver questions regarding work related issues, maintenance/technical issues, work rules, plans, policies or procedures. Ensure drivers are following assigned trips to plan while continuously looking for areas of improvement. Prepare daily records, communications, and maintain filing system for Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and Department of Transportation (DOT) files. Driver scheduling and hours management. Generate planned vs actual variance reports for terminal manager and director of operations. Enforce driver compliance with established safety rules and regulations and measure compliance. Intake of accident/injury reports and disseminate information to appropriate departments for investigation and actions.
Requirements: Must be open to graveyard shift 10p-6am, with two consecutive days off. 3 to 5 years' experience in customer support and case management. Dispatching experience in a fast-paced, high-volume call center preferred. Experience with Logistics orDOT industry preferred. Knowledge of Auto Mechanics preferred. High attention to detail; accuracy with data entry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to establish strong rapport with customers.Strong MS Office skills. Must be able to clear a criminal background check.
