An industry leader in the San Joaquin region is seeking a self-motivated Lead Financial Analyst with strong technical skills to join their Finance Team. This role is responsible for business partnering, decision support, financial modeling and analysis, insightful guidance, and completing complex financial analysis that impacts organizational objectives. In this position you will be given the tools to be influential within a highly focused team and have the chance to develop into a leadership role as the next successor to the FP&A Manager. Ideal candidates will have SQL or advanced skills in Excel and healthcare industry experience. The Lead Financial Analystis a full time, direct hire opportunity with a company that has recently restructured in Stockton, CA.

Responsibilities: Perform analyses, including variance analysis, impact analysis, sensitivity analysis and trend analysis. Gather, analyze and summarize recommendations for financial plans, trending future requirements and operating forecasts. Lead annual financial planning and analysis effort, forecasting various metrics for financial risks and opportunities, and identify variances against budgets. Develop and maintain financial, forecasting and predictive models. Prepare complex financial and other reports with written summaries and recommendations to management. Sets up and maintain electronic and hard copy support files and systems.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare. Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting or Mathematics required. Experience performing complex analytics. In-depth knowledge of financial analysis principles, concepts, practices and standards, including statistics and forecasting. Intermediate skills in data mining large data sets. Ability to think at both strategic and implementation level. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to explain complex information and present financial information in meaningful formats. Advanced skills in Excel.
