A non-profit organization in downtown Sacramento, Women's Empowerment, is currently in need of a Job Developer. This is a fantastic direct hire opportunity to join a team that really makes a difference on a daily basis. The JobDeveloper will work directly with the enrolled students to facilitate career readiness skills and develop and implement individualized Employment Action Plans. Responsibilities: Identify and develop new job opportunities that will help drive employment outcomesfor students and graduates. Provide job-retention services that support both the employee and the employer partner.Coordinate with Social Workers in order to maintain a current calendar for all graduate services, trainings, activities, and appointments. Serves as an employment support liaison between graduates and various job placements in the community. Organize and regularly update applicable job postings. Conduct frequent labor market research to assess the level of compatibility between students' vocational goals and the current job market. Assists students in matching available employment opportunities to their individual abilities, experience, and career goals. Facilitate students' participation in community job fairs. Prepare and coach students for interviewing, resume creation, and follow-up with employers.

Requirements: Masters (preferred) or Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business, marketing/communications, or a related field. Two years' experience working with employers and developing employment partnerships. Experience in conducting assessments and providing career counseling. Demonstrated experience in providing group instruction on career-readiness and skills development. Knowledge of the labor market and occupational climate in the greater Sacramento area. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail and long-term planning. Experience working with underserved and diverse populations.
