Human Resources Specialist- Direct Hire
Sacramento, CA | Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities: Manage the Employee Award program. Assist with event planning. Process employee verifications. Prepare employee correspondence as necessary (jury duty letters, etc.). Assist with monitoring time and attendance. Manage employee files. Maintain employee boards including new hire pictures, events and announcements. Actively pursue knowledge of business practices, policies, organization structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business. Provide strong internal customer service in a timely and efficient manner. Participate in and/or manage special projects as required.
Requirements: Must be amodel of confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy. Ability to interact effectively with all departments at all levels. Must be proficient with MS Office. Bachelor's degree. 1 - 2 years Human Resources experience required; ideally in the generalist function.
