Human Resources Specialist - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Responsible for onboarding new employees. Assist with Job Postings, both internally and externally. Assist managers with candidate flow, follow-up and responses. Act as a liaison with other key Departments to coordinate the new hire process including background checks, offer letters, manager approvals, orientation, and follow up. Provide excellent customer service for new employees during the onboarding process. Maintain personnel/employment records and associated documents in compliance with applicable legal requirements and company policy/practices.
Requirements: Knowledge of HR functional disciplines, employment law and compliance. Recruiting/Onboarding experience is highly desired. Positive and enthusiastic work ethic, inspiring others and modeling the core values of the organization. Excellent interpersonalskills. Must be detail-oriented, accurate, highly organized with solid analytical and decision-making skills. Collaborative team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment by facing tasks with energy and enthusiasm. Highly proficient in MS Office. A working knowledge of automated payroll systems is a plus. Associate's Degree in a related field plus two years of HR experience or equivalent combination. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.
