Human Resources Manager
Responsibilities: Recruit for full-time and temporary employees. Conduct new hire process including drug testing, background checks, and IT set up requests. Process terminations including collecting resignation letters, exit interviews, and coordinating final pay with Payroll. Manage performance review process to ensure managers complete their reviews meet deadlines. Ensure all enrollments for fall open enrollment are complete, including answering any benefits related inquiries from employees and partnering with the Benefits Broker. Assist with any workers compensation related tasks, including reporting injuries and completing incident reports and any additional next steps. Assist with planning and preparation for employee events. Manage employee relations and investigations, including coaching managers and employees. Leave of Absence Administration. Reconcile and provide invoice back-up and for HR credit card use. Sign off on HR related invoices. Track unscheduled absences for payroll purposes. Assist with verbal and written employment verifications.Assist with employee recognition programs.
Requirements: 5+ years managing human resources functions. Strong knowledge of California and Federal employment law. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Human Resources/Payroll systems. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication. Ability to exercise confidentiality.
