Human Resources Manager - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Administers various human resource plans and procedures for organization. Ensures Organization practices are in compliance with laws. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. Performs benefits administration. Facilitates recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and seasonal employees. Facilitates employee relations counseling and exit interviewing. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. Processes and monitors workers' compensation claims and other legal claims. Administer leaves of absences (e.G. Track FMLA, CFRA and PDL paperwork). Oversees coordination of the Safety Committee. Facilitates or provides training (including orientation)to the workforce. Maintains and coordinates employee retention/recognition programs.
Requirements: 3-5 year's human resource experience. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related degree. SPHR/PHR or equivalent highly desired. High degree of customer service skills, flexibility, conflict resolution skills, and team building. Exceptional problem solving/analytical skills. Effectively communicate both orally and written. Intermediate computer skills using HRIS database and MS Office programs. Working knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.
