Human Resources Manager - Direct Hire
Sacramento, CA | Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities: Develops and administers company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements. Promotes positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs. Coordinates recruiting and retention strategies and succession planning process. Manages exit interview process. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes recommendations on a variety of human resources issues. Coordinates training programs, personal and career development, performance appraisal process, compensation systems, and diversity and benefit programs. Coordinates employee relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs. Negotiates contracts with outside vendors to provide employee services. Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops human resources staff; manages schedules and workflow.
Requirements: 5 year's Human Resources or related experience. Bachelor's Degree required; HR Certification desired. Proven leadership and business acumen skills. Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication. Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations. Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. Ability to collect, interpret and analyze complex data and information. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates. Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
