Human Resources Generalist
Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of recruitment including: post open positions and communicating internally. Ensure appropriate applicants are forwarded to the hiring manager. Manage employee onboarding: meet with all new employees on their first day to complete required paperwork. Ensure I-9's are fully completed and maintained. Provide HR support to employees, supervisors, and managers to answer questions and offer guidance related to HR processes or any other HR-related questions. Follow up with employee and other agencies to ensure that pre-employment physicals, fingerprinting, and background checks are received in a timely manner. Maintain personnel files in accordance to regulations. Work with the HR Director to design, develop and deliver competitive employee benefit programs. Enroll new employees in benefits programs. Facilitate and plan the annual Open Enrollment program. Ensure appropriate records retention guidelines are followed. Ensure that archiving records are current and up to date. Create monthly compliance reports. Other dutiesas assigned.
Requirements: 3-5 years of HR experience. Undergraduate degree with emphasis in Human Resources preferred. PHR a plus. Experience in the administration of benefits programs. Demonstrated experience inrecruiting and onboarding. General knowledge of employment laws and practices. Excellent organizational skills. Logical thinker and able to identify problems and propose solutions. Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and manage deadlines. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Must be able to clear a criminal background check.
