Human Resources Generalist - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Facilitating all HR processes including maintaining personnel files, tracking workers compensation reports and insurance issues, updating employee handbook, researching current employment laws and issues. Acting as a liaison between employees and benefits providers. Resolving problems with benefits, employee engagement, hiring, retention, etc. Assisting with new hire training, onboarding and benefits administration. Coordinating with managers to ensure performance review processes including termination, disciplinary action and merit increases are carried out. Assisting with hiring and training processes. Managing summer help and intern program. Implement programs and functions including, safety programs and employee gatherings.
Requirements: 2 - 4 years of experience in human resources. Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field (such as business or personnel management). PHR or SPHR desired. Current knowledge of federal and state labor and payroll laws. Detail oriented, ability to use good judgement in decision making, strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and experience with ADP.
