Human Resources Generalist - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Investigates Employee Relations issues and grievances. Ensures proper planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employees' work results by training, coaching, and disciplining employees, resolving grievances, and counseling employees and supervisors. Administers FMLA/LOA functions. Assists with recruitment efforts: interview candidates, run backgrounds, and employee orientation. Ensures compliance with stateand federal regulatory activities such as wage orders, OSHA/Safety, workers compensation, and unemployment. Maintains the work structure by evaluating and updating job requirements for all positions. Assists the Company's senior management in preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures. Manages and administers the Company's benefit plans, employee participation and enrollment. Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews. Additional projects as assigned.
Requirements: 3 years related experience in an HR Generalist role including some recruiting. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field is required. SPHR or PHR strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience with Employee Relations. Strong technical skills with HRIS systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detailed-oriented and highly organized. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
