Human Resources Director-Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategy, objectives, and policies for the HR department. Lead in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals. Counsel Managers and employees consistent with company policies/practices, legal considerations, etc. And facilitate resolution of employee relations issues. Responsible for all talent-related processes and programs, to include talent assessment, performance management, and succession planning. Work with the Training department to build strong competency and career path models across the organization while collaborating with the functional leaders. Manage budgeting process and provide recommendations. Oversee Benefits administration. Monitor new employee orientation and training. Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies, practices and procedures thatcreate and maintain a positive employee relations environment, drive business results and help create and sustain the desired culture.
Requirements: 5 years' HR leadership experience in a healthcare facility. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Human Resource certification or equivalent: Preferred SHRM/PHPR. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a Human Resources department. Positive and effective communication and problem solving skills. Strong ability to work closely with executive and senior management on value-added strategic business initiatives. Knowledge of California Employment Law.
