Our client is searching for a Human Resources Assistant who can help provide administrative and project support fora busy HR Department. The ideal candidate will have previous human resources experience and will have flexibility to navigate through a fast pace environment. Responsibilities: Administratively support Human Resources team. Create and maintain personnel files. Prepare onboarding materials. Prepare benefit packets for distribution. Update employee data with accuracy in HRMS and training module. Assist with employee experience programs such as the Employee Awardprogram, corporate events and birthday/anniversary events. Verify employment. Prepare employee correspondence as necessary (jury duty letters, etc.). Actively pursue knowledge of business practices, policies, organization structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business. Provide strong internal customer service in a timely and efficient manner. Participate in and/or manage special projects as required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: 1 - 2 years Human Resources experience required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. Familiarity with laws and regulations related to HR, including but not limitedto staffing, employee relations, leaves of absences, FMLA, ADA, PDL, CFRA, EEOC, CalOSHA, Worker's Compensation andHIPPA preferred. Ability to interact effectively with all departments at all levels. Ability to be flexible, meet deadlines, establish priorities and work independently or as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service. Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer savvy.

Pay: $18/hour
