Human Resources Assistant
Responsibilities: Support the HR team with day-to-day tasks of the Human Resources tasks and act as first point of contact in HR for employees. Onboarding for new hires; create personnel files, process I-9's and background investigations. Maintain employee files and records; enter and update employee data, LOA, EEO data. Recruitment support, including resume tracking and review as well as employment verifications. Support new hire process, including assisting with variousorientation needs. Benefit enrollment for new hires. Special projects as assigned.
Requirements: 4 years' administrative experience, preferably supporting an HR team. High School Diploma or GED required. Experiencewith HR software preferred (HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, etc.) Working knowledge of State and Federal employment law preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer savvy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think critically and problem solve. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Self-motivated, willing to learn and show initiative.
