Human Resources Administrator
Responsibilities: Compiles new hire packets, performs new hire orientation, and collects all new hire documents and paperwork. Coordinates candidate drug testing paperwork and reports results to management. Updates and maintains HR related forms. Processes E-verify on all new hires and files I-9s. Tracks benefit eligibility and mails out notices to newly eligible employees. Performs data entry into benefits system and tracks enrollments. Terminates benefits as needed. Reviews weekly reports from benefit carriers and corrects discrepancies. Processes monthly benefit billings. Tracks all leave of absence requests, compiles and mails out appropriate paperwork. Assists the Safety Manager with scanning and uploading of safety related trainings. Creates training cards and mails out to employees as needed. Maintains company authorized driver records. Handles requests for safety supplies. Creates emergency plans for new jobs and updates TPS reports. Assists with mass mailings for benefits, 401(k), or other special assignments. Maintains HR related files.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years Human Resources experience. General knowledge of state and federal labor and employment laws. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Good organization and time management skills.
