Healthcare Quality Coordinator

We are searching for a Healthcare Quality Coordinator with strong project support experience. This role will support the Quality Department with an established Healthcare provider assisting with the development of policies, standard operating procedures and diagramed process workflows. The ideal candidate will have Clinical Quality and Risk Management support experience.

Responsibilities: Coordinate and support projects related to the Quality and Risk Management Department. Draft project plans based on preliminary data and monitor due dates, maintaining documentation of project progress and inputting data into the company system. Document necessary project actions and results, including policies, operating procedures and workflows. Manage audit projects, auditing and reconciling various data for the department and the company's clients, analyzing the data, preparing necessary documentation or changes, and providing necessary parties with timely updates. Heavily support department leadership, including scheduling meetings, coordination and preparation of any meeting details and materials. Attend meetings, occasionally traveling as needed, taking meeting minutes and working with Project Managers on any project updates or action items. Monitor provider peer review process from start to finish, requesting reports, analyzing data, and selecting patient charts for review. Gather pertinent datafor peer review, prepare peer review documentation forms, notify auditor of peer review assignment, track review assignment and escalate as needed, then notify the necessary parties to present review outcomes to the appropriate team. Manage document and project workflow through various departments.

Requirements: 2+ years' experience supporting a Healthcare Provider or Clinical Quality and/or Risk Management department or project team is required. High School Diploma required. Advance level expertise with Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel preferred. Strong technical skills and computer savvy. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to think critically and problem solve.
