Full Charge Bookkeeper
Rancho Cordova, CA
Responsibilities: Calculate, record, and balance financial reports, including payroll. Work with employees during changes in salaries, benefits, and any additional changes to pay. Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly reconciliations. Accounts payable and receivable. Perform data entry and administrative duties. Produce reports: monthly, semi-annually and annually. Process approved accounts payable checks (print, obtain approval signatures & mail). Process payroll, billing, receivables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions. Scan/copy checks, prepare deposits and document payments into system to appropriate accounts. Ensure that all general ledger accounts are reconciled and recorded on a monthly basis. Other duties as needed.
Requirements: Associates degree is required. Minimum 3 years professional experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Auditing or Finance. Great attention to detail and ability to work in a highly confidential environment. Advanced Excel skills highly desired. Experience with Business Works is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
