Full Charge Bookkeeper
Greater Sacramento Area, CA
Responsibilities: Calculate, record, and balance financial reports, including payroll. Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly reconciliations. Accounts payable and receivable. Produce reports: monthly, semi-annually and annually. Process approved accounts payable checks (print, obtain approval signatures & mail).Process payroll, billing, receivables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions. Scan/copy checks, prepare deposits and document payments into system to appropriate accounts. Ensure that all general ledger accounts are reconciled and recorded on a monthly basis. Other duties as needed.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years professional experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Auditing or Finance. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a highly confidential environment. Solid QuickBooks and Excel skills required - Candidates will be tested. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.
