Field Construction Administrator
Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to Field Manager. Create and update project schedules, and schedule accordingly with internal operations. Facilitate team project meetings. Provide timely communication, responses and updates to vendors and internal team members. Answer phones and direct calls/take messages as appropriate. Maintain filing system for project documentation and tracking in proper database systems. Data entry of vendor information. Create, publish, send, and follow up on submittals. Assist in setting project budget and tracking project costs. Create estimates of change orders and potential work. Collect pricing from vendors and order material for jobs. Coordinates contract initiation with contract department and subcontractors. Participate in site visits. Orderly tracking of bid documents. Update employee resource list at job sites/project locations. Solicit vendors for the buyout items. Verify compliance to project specs when applicable.
Requirements: 3 years' experience in a support role within the construction industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. MS Project or other project management software required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels of employees. Some travel to client sites required as needed.
