Employee Relations Manager
Responsibilities: Lead a team of Human Resource Business Partners working across multiple business groups to assist employees and managers in resolving issues and grievances. Collaborate with internal partners and leadership teams. Conduct investigations and address employee issues and complaints. Design and implement an ER framework. Manage and maintain HR procedures, policies and practices to ensure compliance. Assess employment risk in coordination with HR leadership. Ensure cases are handled fairly and consistently in a timely fashion, and in line with the credit union's values and applicable laws. Analyze employee relations trends to develop solutions and strategies.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Advanced Degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of Employee Relations/Human Resources managing investigations, at least 5 years of progressive HR management level experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience leading a team. Expert knowledge and demonstrated full understanding of employee relations, federal, state and local laws that govern employment practices. Must have deep knowledge of FMLA, EEO laws, ADA and other employment-related state and federal laws & regulations. Strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills, including effective listening, writing and presentation. PHR or SPHR preferred, but not required.
