Preet Kuar, Executive Recruiter is searching for an Employee Relations Manager for a leading employer in Sacramento. Our client offers competitive compensation and a great benefits package. This role is responsible for managing effective administration of the company's employee relations, HR compliance, Unemployment, Employee Engagement Performance Management and Workers' Compensation. Proactively participates in achieving organizational and department strategic goals and objectives.

Responsibilities: Lead a team of Human Resource Business Partners working across multiple business groups to assist employees and managers in resolving issues and grievances. Conduct investigations and address employee issues and complaints working in partnership with the HRBPsand Legal to make recommendations on appropriate courses of action. Design and implement an ER framework, includingstrategies to drive continuously improving ER practices. Manage and maintain HR procedures, policies and practices to ensure compliance, enhance the employee experience and promote the company's values and culture. Ensure cases are handled fairly and consistently in a timely fashion. Develop, socialize and rollout ER processes, policies, guidelines and practices. Provide appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and employees. Oversee the company's performance management process. Participate in staff training and management in areas of Employee Relations.

Requirements: A minimum of 8+ years of Employee Relations/Human Resources managing investigations, at least 5 years of progressive HR management level experience and a minimum of 5 years' experienceleading a team. Bachelor's degree required. Deep understanding of FMLA, EEO laws, ADA and other employment-related state and federal laws & regulations. Self-starter who can manage with limited supervision and direction. Strong analytical skills. Able to build strong partnerships and work closely with all levels of the organization. Superb verbal and written communication skills. PHR or SPHR preferred.
