A large manufacturing organization in the Central Valley is partnering with Pacific Staffing to search for a Director of Business Development. Our client is an entrepreneurial organization and offers a very competitive compensation package. The Director of Business Development performs various operations related analytics duties, including data querying, spreadsheet design and maintenance, and trending and monitoring key performance indicators. This role will focus their efforts on company growth by creating, streamlining and expanding the company's understanding of the sales pipeline, pricing and new business opportunities. This role will also be responsible for supporting financial analysis. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing team as well as the Finance team.

Responsibilities: Periodic reporting related to salesand performance versus forecasts by region, customer and product. Requires strong interaction with the sales team and distributor to understand causes of variances and the ability to package findings into digestible content for the team. Create pricing structure and present in simple format to sales and executive team. Develop, maintain and disseminate price sheets, sell sheets, POS and collateral. Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement. Develop and manage cost controls, budget approval processes. Manage data, reporting and analysis within the CRM - Salesforce.Com. Periodic financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements: 5 years related business experience in areas such as Business Development in a manufacturing environment, Purchasing, or Production. Bachelor's Degree required; MBA highly preferred. CPA or CPM is a plus. Analytics experience required. Advanced Excel required. Ability to analyze, and interpret complex reporting. Strong leadership experience. Ability to implement process improvements and work under aggressive deadlines. Strongcommunication, presentation and PowerPoint skills.
