Direct Hire - Banking Card Services Manager
Sacramento, CA | Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities: Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement operating changes with processors and ensure that all databases are functioning. Develop and manage the card services fraud response program both internally and with vendor processors. Ensure that developing fraud trends are identified and mitigated as quicklyas possible. Overall card product portfolio performance (including related programs such as rewards and rebate) and make recommendations to ensure strategic growth goals are met. Analyze data from various processors and identify growth opportunities. Deployment of approved new enhancements including budgets, resources, and timeline. Manage vendor relations including communication, trouble escalation and resolution, proposal and contract negotiation, project management, billing review, service levels, and general accountability. Ensure Card services programs are in compliance with all regulatory governing bodies. Responsible for Card Services Department budget including analysis and forecasting of expenses/capital and reviewing monthly invoices.
Qualifications: 5+ years in Banking/Electronic Banking/Bankcard Card Services Management. BA or BS degree in Business or related field is required. Proven Strategic Business and Project leadership. Knowledge of VISA/Debit Card systems required. Understands business implications of decisions and demonstrates knowledge of Card Services market and competition. Excellent at managing Vendor relations and negotiations. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Excellent analytical skills. Strong aptitude with math, statistics and numeric data. Demonstrated ability to successfully complete large complex projects.
