Responsibilities: Reviews new applicants to ensure no data is missing and enters any new information intoCredentialing Verification database. Processes new applications including inputting new applicant's basic information into the system. Generates re-application reports and corresponds with affiliates to initiate the re-application process. Records and tracks responses from primary sources. Assembles reappointment application packets and assists with projects as needed. Reviews received primary source verification and follows up as necessary. Regularly performs more complex Credentialing Verification functions.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration. 3+ years' experience with verifying credentials and processing new applications for hospital and/or healthcare credentialing. Medical Staff Services Certification - CPMSM or CPCS. Strong have attention to detail, focused and able to work in fast paced environments. Experience conducting primary source verification of physician's education, training and licensure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
