Responsibilities: Integrating and analyzing company financials will be a hallmark of success; absorb complex financial data and business structures and set strategy for the best courses of action. Ensure all the financial statements are presented in accordance with GAAP. Primary point person / liaison between the company and outside auditors. Create accounting policies and procedures to develop an internal control framework. Responsible for A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, treasury and payroll (payroll is more complex than a typical company). Understand these operational processes and recommend and implement operational improvements. Manage key accounting functions including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Collaborate with the CFO in the preparation of financial analyses and reports for executives. Hire, manage and mentor the accounting team.
Requirements: CPA with 5-7 years of applicable experience, including previous experience as a supervisor or manager. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Prior experience in ERP & system implementation and data migration desired. Prior controller or VP finance experience desired. Experience working with high-growth, fast-paced companies. Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to deliver effective presentations. Accurate and detail oriented.
