Contracts and Billing Administrator
Greater Sacramento Area, CA | Temporary Position
Responsibilities: Prepare preliminary invoices for appropriate labor, expense charges, billing rates, fees maximums and make appropriate changes and reclassifications. Work with project manager to properly set up, track and maintain project spend and receivables. Monitor, coordinate and analyze project reporting to ensure accuracy based on project performance and perform monthly and quarterly forecast for projects. Monitor and report on job budgets and costs, labor charges, expense detail and work plans. Assist in preparing sub-consultant agreements, insurance and review of compensation and payments clauses, salary rates and determining appropriate overhead rates. Terms and conditions negotiation. Contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets skills. Ability to track authorizations and correspondence. Maintain detailed and organized files using SharePoint, Project Wise or other similar systems. Prepare contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables. Maintain an audit file for each contract, which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, and payment schedules.
Requirements: 5 years' experience in contract administration.Deltek Vision experience highly preferred. Must be able to read, analyzing and understanding contact terms and understand billing and regulatory requirements. Solid grasp on revenue recognition related to the contractors. 5 years' experience with Federal contracts. A solid understanding of revenue recognition. Well organized and an ability to effectively communicate.
