We are searching for a Recruiter for an organization in the Woodland area. This is a 3-4 month contract position and our client is seeking a Recruiter to assist with their hiring needs for high volume, entry level positions. This position is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff through creative sourcing methods. Ideal candidates must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, have knowledge of all general job functions in the company, extensive knowledge of personnel policy andprocedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Responsibilities: Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs. Screen resumes, interview candidates, administer appropriate assessments and reference/background checks, make recommendations for hire and delivers employment offers. Researchand source active and passive candidates. Create and manage job advertisements and internal job descriptions. Manage the job offers including negotiation and administration, through onboarding. Manage activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one year of prior recruiting experience. Experience with ATS systems, common recruitment applications, online programs, and tools. Demonstrated experience in candidate sourcing solutions. Knowledge of relevant state and federal employment laws and legislation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build relationships. Strong follow up skills. Excellent negotiation skills.
