Construction QA Project Manager - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Monitor, record, and implement project quality control activities in compliance with applicable industry standards. Perform audits, daily inspections, field observations, etc. Participate in contractor first work inspections and pre-installation meetings. Document, report, and distribute non-compliance, audit, and inspection results. Act as liaison with regulatory agencies, contractors and/or internal departments on quality related matters. Ensure that contractor is maintaining standards as outlined in quality control and assurance project contract documents. Ensureadequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of noncompliance. Prepare quality control procedures (work controlling documents) and review other department procedures for compliance with quality control requirements. Review daily project documents such as RFIs, Inspection Reports, and Submittals for conformance with the contract documents. Assist with project closeout activities such as punch, review of O&Ms & as-builts, warranties etc.
Requirements: 10 years related experience and/or training; Bachelor's degree (M.A.), certifications or equivalent combination of experience, certification and or education. Ability to respond to common inquiries from regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management. Analytical thinker who can problem solve. Proficient with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and database applications. Proficient in Bluebeam and PlanGrid preferred.
