Responsibilities: Conducts job analysisresearch by gathering and organizing data from a variety of sources for the purpose of formulating a clear understanding of job duties and responsibilities. Analyzes internal and external job data to include: job benchmarks, job classifications, market data and salary survey data. Assesses current compensation and ranges to identify potential compression between staff and supervisors, develops recommendations to address identified issuesand works with HR Center of Expertise and/or Business Partner to implement appropriate changes. Presents recommendations to hiring managers and HR Business Partners and escalates to the HR Center of Expertise for review.Administers base pay for across the board increases and coordinates closely with the HR Data and Reporting Team to implement changes to step and grade tables and uploads of mass changes. Administers and audits base pay and incentive pay to ensure compliance with plan design. Prepares thorough and accurate ad hoc reports, analysis and recommendations as requested. Writes competitive market analyses presenting data, interpretations, and recommendations. Recommends changes as needed on differentials, incentive pay, revising the step program, experience crediting, and other policies and practices that affect recruitment, retention, or impact negotiations.
Requirements: Three years' experience in human resources with compensation experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field. Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. High attention to detail. Demonstrated critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
