Clinic Manager - Direct Hire
Sacramento, CA | Direct Hire Position
Responsibilities: Recruit, supervise, train and direct clinic staff: planning, monitoring, appraising job results, coaching, counseling employees, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards. Oversee all patient programs at the facility. Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary action for staff members. Monitor time and attendance records; approve timecards. Receive and help to resolve customer service issues and patient complaints. Monitor delivery of patient services and prepare for changes needed or impacted by patient load and government regulations and policies; oversee scheduling. Monitor licensing and certification for facility. Create reports for staff and management. Establish and maintain department budget. Maintain and enhance competency of staff through in-services, staff meetings and educational programs. Review departmental policies and procedures annually and update as needed. Complete special projects.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years related experience; primary care and/or urgent care experience preferred. 3 years in an administrative supervisory capacity required. High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies. Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline. Strong documentation skills. Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
