Cash Receipts Specialist
Responsibilities Accurate posting of payments from insurance and patients to accounts.Accurate posting of adjustments/reversals to applicable accounts. Post and process refunds.Posting of denials from insurances to applicable accounts. Research and resolution of pre-pay accounts.Back-up for daily deposit preparation. Prepare forbank delivery and/or electronic funs deposit.
Requirements Understanding of all insurance carriers - Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMO, PPO.Background in billing/payment posting, or cash applications experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to pass on boarding requirements and have good judgement including drug and background screening.
