Responsibilities: Solicit bid pricing from current and potential new suppliers that would be qualified through the company's new supplier qualification process. Evaluates competitive pricing through quoting and continual supplier evaluation. Negotiate with supplier as needed to provide the company with the lowest overall cost. Perform all required item data updating in the MRP system. Monitor and report on lead times and stay in constant communication with vendors. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Negotiate Commercial Terms.
Requirements: 1-3 years of experience working within purchasing as Buyer AA/AS or equivalent experience. Familiarity with utilizing automated ERP systems and databases. Ability to use goodjudgement. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
